FAQ’s
What is the difference between coaching and counselling?
The work can draw from both.
Counselling may focus more on understanding emotional patterns, past experiences, current challenges and the way these continue to shape how you respond.
Coaching may focus more on direction, decision making, behaviour, identity, accountability and the person you are working toward becoming.
In practice, the line between the two is not always rigid.
The work is shaped around what is most useful for you, while remaining clear about the purpose and boundaries of the session.
Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?
No.
You may arrive with a very clear issue, or simply with the sense that something is not working the way you want it to.
You are only required to show up as you are.
We can work from where you are at, with what is present in the moment.
The only real requirement is a willingness to participate honestly in the process. You do not need to have everything figured out, explained perfectly, or presented neatly before the work can begin.
Do you only work with men?
No.
Depth Craft is open to people who feel aligned with the work and are willing to participate honestly in their own process of change.
Some workshops and events may be designed specifically for men, but 1:1 work is not limited to men.
Are sessions available online?
Yes.
Most 1:1 sessions are held online via Google Meet or Zoom.
This allows the work to be accessible, consistent and easier to integrate into everyday life.
Some deeper somatic processes may be better suited to a dedicated in-person session on the Gold Coast. If that becomes appropriate, we will discuss it together during your coaching or counselling work before anything is arranged.
Do I have to commit to a longer package?
No.
You can begin with a single Personal Transformation Session.
If it feels useful to continue, we can discuss whether a 4 or 8-session container is more appropriate.
What if I have already done therapy, coaching or personal development work?
That is completely fine.
In fact, many people who come to Depth Craft may already have significant insight into themselves and may have benefited from other therapists, coaches, teachers, workshops or approaches along the way.
Depth Craft is not here to compete with or invalidate those perspectives.
Different people, approaches and frameworks can offer something valuable at different stages of a person’s life. No single practitioner sees the whole picture.
I am human, and I can only offer the perspective available through my own experience, training and lens.
The work here is simply another place to look from.
It may be especially useful when you already understand a pattern but still find yourself repeating it, or when previous breakthroughs have not yet translated into lasting, embodied change.
Is Path to Sovereignty therapy?
No.
Path to Sovereignty is a structured personal transformation program that combines teaching, reflection, embodied practice and integration.
It may complement counselling or other therapeutic work, but it is not a replacement for medical, psychiatric or specialised mental health care where that is required.
What if I am dealing with addiction or compulsive behaviour?
This can be part of the work, particularly when substances, habits or compulsive behaviours are being used to regulate, numb or escape difficult internal states.
The work can explore what sits beneath those behaviours, the needs they may be attempting to meet, and the patterns that keep them in place.
Where more specialised addiction, medical or psychiatric support is needed, that support should sit alongside or take priority over this work.
How do I know which option is right for me?
You do not need to have that figured out before making contact.
If you’re unsure where to begin, a free discovery call is a good starting point. It gives us an opportunity to connect, explore what you’re looking for, and discuss which approach might best support you.
Whether that’s a single Personal Transformation Session, a longer 1:1 container, or the Path to Sovereignty program, we can explore what feels most appropriate for where you are now.
There is no pressure to commit to anything.
You don’t need to have the perfect words or your whole story figured out. We can start with where you are.

Ready to Go Deeper?
You do not need to wait until everything is clear.
You do not need to have the perfect plan, the perfect language, or the perfect version of yourself ready to begin.
You only need enough willingness to look honestly at where you are, what is no longer working, and what you are ready to move toward.
Depth Craft is here to support that process.
Whether you are beginning with a single session, entering a longer 1:1 container, or stepping into the Path to Sovereignty program, the work starts in the same place:
with where you are now.
Go beneath the pattern.
Build the structure to meet life differently.
